AI POLICY

The International Journal of Interdisciplinary Advancements (IJIA) recognizes the increasing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern research and academic writing. This policy outlines the ethical standards and responsibilities associated with the use of AI tools in manuscript preparation and scholarly publishing.

Authors may utilize AI-based technologies as supportive tools to improve language clarity, grammar, formatting, reference organization, and overall presentation of their manuscripts. However, the intellectual core of the research—including study design, analysis, interpretation, and conclusions—must be entirely developed and owned by human authors.

The use of AI must never replace human academic responsibility. AI tools are not permitted to generate original research content, fabricate or manipulate data, or contribute to scientific conclusions in any form. The authenticity, accuracy, and originality of the work remain the sole responsibility of the authors.

Any use of AI assistance in the preparation of a manuscript must be transparently disclosed at the time of submission. Failure to disclose such usage or misuse of AI-generated content may result in rejection, revision, or retraction of the published work.

Under no circumstances can AI tools be credited as authors or co-authors, as authorship requires intellectual contribution, accountability, and responsibility, which can only be attributed to human researchers.

Through this policy, The International Journal of Interdisciplinary Advancements (IJIA) ensures that technological advancement is used responsibly while preserving the integrity, originality, and ethical foundation of academic research.
